Charcoal chimney: for optimal cooking

Discover the Umami charcoal chimney, a very practical accessory for optimal cooking on your Japanese barbecue. It allows you to quickly heat up your charcoal or bichotan before pouring it into the fire of your barbecue. This way you can control the quality of your embers and get the perfect cooking for your food.

Advice for use / MaintenanceInsert the binchotan into the chimney and place it on your gas hob or stove for example. The bottom of the chimney must be in contact with the flames. You can also use a torch. After 5-10 minutes your binchotan will start burning. Please note that this fireplace does not work with electric or induction hotplates as it requires direct contact.
