KI NO BI is an exceptional Japanese gin crafted in an artisanal distillery located in Kyoto. Made from regional ingredients, it draws inspiration from the city’s history and culture. Its name, meaning “the beauty of the seasons,” reflects this identity.
Distilled from a rice spirit, it is enhanced with local botanicals such as yellow yuzu, sanshō pepper, and Uji gyokuro tea. The blend is then finished with the famous Fushimi water before being bottled at 45.7% ABV.
Nose: KI NO BI is a gin that speaks of its birthplace— as clear as the air of Kyoto’s sacred mountains. Fresh yuzu aromas and a thread of lingering sanshō, like morning mist in a bamboo forest.
Palate: Juniper complements and highlights the Japanese botanicals.
Finish: Ginger root brings a gently warm, spicy note with a hint of gyokuro tea.
