Bergamot Tobacco Leather
An Untamed Signature
With Carmen, Trudon extends the universe of the iconic Ernesto candle, taking it into a more sensual register, designed for the skin. Carmen does not seek to be its olfactory reproduction, but rather its transposition into a skin fragrance, through a new, noble, enveloping, and sensual composition.
Tobacco, the pillar of the original composition, gains depth and nobility here, illuminated by a hint of rum. Leather becomes more refined, worked as closely as possible to the grain, more textured, revealing all its sensuality. Woods and resins structure the whole without ever weighing it down, while ambroxan and an exceptionally pure patchouli bring a contemporary vibration. The composition reveals all its facets, evolving on the skin over the hours.
Carmen is fully in keeping with the DNA of Trudon’s haute parfumerie. It expresses the Maison’s taste for the noblest raw materials, the depth of woody and resinous accords, and bold olfactory choices. A perfumery of character, where complexity is born from precise work on textures, nuances, and the evolution of the fragrance on the skin.
Created by perfumer Émilie Bouge, Carmen is unveiled as a Parfum concentrated at 15%—an intensity that allows the materials to express their full breadth, depth, and nuances, while offering exceptional longevity and sillage.
