Amuseables Caprese Baguette isn’t one of those baguettes dreaming of Parisian café terraces. She much prefers heading to the market square at dawn, tote bag over her shoulder and eyes sharply peeled. Her guilty pleasure? Flea markets. The thrill of a rare find, the joy of a bargain… Caprese lives for it, and rarely comes home empty‑handed.
Polite but firm, she has a real head for business and a wonderfully subtle way of haggling. Her latest treasure? A vintage teapot snapped up for the symbolic price of €1 from a very obliging stallholder.
By lunchtime, she finally heads home, looking pleased with herself and laden with finds, ready to unveil her treasures to Amuseables Brie and Camembert over a nice hot cup of tea… served in her latest teapot, of course. And next Saturday? She’ll be back again.
