Amuseables Carrot has been suspiciously absent from the vegetable patch’s daily roll call for some time now. Or at least, that’s what Timmy Turtle claims, currently disguised as a garden gnome to get to the bottom of the case.
The truth, however, is far less dramatic: Carrot has simply signed up for a tap‑dancing class with Glenny Goat and Carys Caterpillar. He did try to explain the situation calmly to Timmy, but Timmy remains convinced there’s a conspiracy afoot.
So, in the meantime, Carrot keeps practising and, to put Timmy’s mind at ease, leaves a decoy in the vegetable patch. You can never be too careful.
