The mill is made from fully FSC-certified solid rubberwood, finished with 8 layers of high-gloss lacquer, hand-polished between each layer. Utilizing a ceramic grinding mechanism, the mill requires a clockwise motion to be activated. These mills are suitable for grinding rock salt (dry salt crystals) or black peppercorns. They should not be used for sea salt, wet salt, dried wet salt, or pink peppercorns.
