Founded in 1988, DAMS Lucas Oil, the French team based in Le Mans, is one of the most iconic outfits in modern motorsport. For over three decades, its single-seaters have competed in Formula 2 and Formula 3 championships, revealing some of the paddock’s greatest talents.

For the 2026 season, we are partnering with the team around a shared vision: mastered time, precise gestures, and engineering designed to go further. This collaboration comes to life today through the R01 Series Depancel × DAMS Lucas Oil—a limited edition of 200 pieces, built around the team’s visual codes and the demands of the racetrack.

A dial that reflects the team

The dial features the emblematic colors of DAMS Lucas Oil, combining a deep blue with subtle light-blue accents in a two-level construction. The slightly recessed central section has a sunburst finish, while the upper section stands out with bold vertical lines that add relief and depth.

At 9 o’clock and 3 o’clock, two sub-dials dedicated to day and month, outlined in black and guilloché at the center, structure the display. At 6 o’clock, the DAMS Lucas Oil logo sits above the date window, the signature of this collaboration.

The “Depancel Dashboard” hands, inspired by automotive gauges, and the track-marker-style indices are filled with Super-LumiNova® C1 to ensure optimal legibility in all conditions.

A case designed down to the last detail

With its unique square design, the R01 Series Depancel × DAMS Lucas Oil features a 43 × 36 mm stainless-steel case with dynamic edges and chamfered facets at 6 and 12 o’clock for perfect ergonomics and natural comfort on the wrist. The top of the case is vertically brushed, while the sides alternate horizontal brushing and polished areas, creating a subtle play of contrasts. It is topped with a bevel-cut sapphire crystal that extends the lines of the case seamlessly.

A reliable, robust movement

The R01 Series Depancel × DAMS Lucas Oil is powered by the calibre 9122, an automatic movement developed by Japanese manufacturer Miyota. With a 40-hour power reserve, it is known for exemplary reliability and features a carefully engineered design that reduces wear points and ensures excellent performance in all conditions.

The transparent caseback reveals the heart of the watch—its gears in motion and its decorated oscillating weight: precision mechanics made to last, and to be admired.
