To mark the 80th anniversary of The Little Prince, Leblon Delienne celebrates the return of one of literature’s most universal works to its collections with a creation that brings to life one of the story’s most iconic scenes: the encounter between the Little Prince and the Fox. This collector’s edition is limited to 125 numbered pieces.
In this 42 cm sculptural interpretation, the Atelier seeks to do more than simply portray two iconic characters. It captures the precise moment when a unique bond begins to form: one of taming, friendship and trust. The Little Prince and the Fox both turn their gaze towards the stars. The same horizon, the same contemplation. In this shared direction lies the full strength of the bond that unites them: two beings who, having tamed one another, now look at the world together.
Just as the friendship between the Little Prince and the Fox is built over time, this piece is itself the result of patience. “It is only with the heart that one can see rightly; what is essential is invisible to the eye.”
Crafted at the Leblon Delienne Atelier, each piece draws on exceptional savoir-faire. Nearly 100 hours were devoted to the sculpting phase alone, during which the Leblon Delienne Atelier’s sculptor brought every volume, expression and detail of the composition to life. Each piece is then entirely hand-painted, showcasing the precision of the craftsmanship and the exacting attention to detail that define the Atelier. The Original Matt finish delicately preserves Saint-Exupéry’s distinctive linework while giving it a new dimension: that of contemporary sculpture.
Crafted from premium resin, this piece goes beyond a simple tribute to an iconic character to become a true collector’s item, created for admirers of The Little Prince as well as enthusiasts of design, exceptional craftsmanship and French savoir-faire.
