This Danish whisky is crafted from a blend of rye and barley sourced from local crops, consisting precisely of 30% malted barley and 70% malted rye. The Stauning Rye is fully matured in new American oak barrels. It is a 100% Danish whisky, as the entire process, from malting to bottling, takes place on site.
It is a truly complex and rich terroir whisky. It unfolds aromas of rye bread, pepper, dried fruits, black cherries, vanilla, and citrus that fill the palate.
