With this Limited Edition, the distillery blends Mediterranean glamour with the raw authenticity of Islay, reinterpreting La Dolce Vita with an Ardbeggian twist. Matured in Sicilian Marsala wine casks and classic bourbon barrels, Ardbeg Dolce balances sweet aromas of apricot, marmalade, and dark chocolate with notes of toasted nuts and smoked applewood.
Nose: Candied apricot, citrus marmalade, dark chocolate, quickly enveloped by an intense peaty smoke.
Palate: Rich and indulgent opening, toasted nuts, beautiful fruity sweetness balanced by powerful peat and smoky applewood notes.
Finish: Long and lingering, marked by assertive peat, toasted notes, and a slight residual sweetness.
