Origin of cocoa: Vietnam
Type of chocolate: Mild & Elegant
Tasting notes: Soft apricot notes, beautiful caramelized finish
On the southeast coast of Vietnam, in the Bà Rịa-Vũng Tàu province, the OCA (Organic Cacao) organization supports producers in developing an exceptional organic cocoa sector.
The cacao trees grow in lush plantations, surrounded by avocado, cashew, and jackfruit trees. Imported by the French in the 19th century, this cocoa has been preserved as it was long forgotten in favor of more profitable crops, such as coffee.
Today, we have the privilege of being among the rare manufacturers able to work with these beans in Europe.
Both comforting, mild, and fruity, this chocolate reveals delightful notes of soft apricots and a beautiful caramelized finish.
