A historic fragrance of the House, this Nectar is made from Williams pears picked before full ripeness and then ripened in crates. Thanks to this method, the fruit’s aromatic power is fully revealed, with bright aromas and a finely grainy texture true to its natural flesh.
Serving occasions: Breakfast · Brunch · Tea time · Mixology
Cocktail idea: Le Trou Normand, Milliat style
Discovered in southern England at the end of the 18th century by a schoolteacher in his garden, this pear caught the attention of Mr Williams, his neighbour and a nurseryman. All pear eaux-de-vie are made from this variety, which expresses its qualities best on a hillside at 500 metres above sea level.
“I enjoy it at breakfast or at tea time when the weather is cold—a true indulgence.”
— Alain Milliat
