Strutton Pigeon is the most dedicated member of the local municipal clean‑up crew. In fact, he’s the only member. At dawn, armed with his litter picker and a reflective vest he made himself, he patrols pavements, riverbanks, and forgotten corners. A volunteer down to the very tips of his feathers, he’s driven as much by civic duty as by the goal of hitting his ten thousand steps a day. He even goes so far as to launch petitions to set up a composting scheme.
At the end of the day, Strutton Pigeon perches by the canal, smooths his feathers, and enjoys the view. The only blot on the landscape? Amuseables Peanut, who insists on scattering crisp crumbs right under his beak…
