Smokiverse is a limited edition from Ardbeg, launched to celebrate Ardbeg Day 2025, a global event dedicated to the brand. This whisky is the first from Ardbeg to be crafted with high-gravity wort, involving a more abundant use of malted barley. This innovation alters the balance of ingredients, creating a new aromatic intensity and enriching the flavor palette. Inspired by this idea of gravity and attraction, Ardbeg adopts a space theme for this edition, taking whisky enthusiasts on a cosmic adventure.
In a very limited edition, Smokiverse is offered on allocation, making each bottle precious for collectors and enthusiasts.
Nose: A fruity ensemble of esters, barley, and toasted bread, enhanced by a peaty note with tropical accents.
Palate: The creamy texture offers spicy flavors of anise and clove, softened by muscovado sugar and balanced with touches of soft oak.
Finish: A hint of earthy peat mixed with wood fire embers and nuances of charcoal.
