"D’un Verre Printanier" surprises with its lightness and freshness. Like nature reawakening, this Single Malt from the land of mirabelles brings forth new scents and colors. It stands out with a well-defined taste, balancing raw aroma and fragrance, yet keeps a part of its secret that captivates the senses. The dominant profile is fruity, featuring notes of white fruits and fresh cereal, while the finish is spicy with a lovely smoothness. It's an open-air olfactory journey, off the beaten path of traditional whisky.
Nose: White flowers, orchard fruits (particularly pear), with notes of cereals and fresh herbs, slightly spicy.
Palate: A crisp and smooth attack. Fruity (pear again, along with notes of yellow fruits like mirabelle), with vegetal hints.
Finish: Malty, slightly spicy, airy, and appetite-inducing. A sustained tension that makes you want to return to it.
Aged between 5 and 7 years in ex-Cognac and ex-Bourbon casks.
Benjamin's vision was to create a whisky that could be described as fresh, retaining the spirit of the original distillate, and enjoyable even in warm weather. Originating from Lorraine.
