Ardbeg spectacular

For the new edition of Ardbeg Day, Ardbeg unveils the Spectacular, a breathtaking taste experience. For the very first time in the distillery's history, this single malt was aged in rare port casks, then in classic bourbon casks. This fusion results in a remarkably smoky and balanced liquid, offering a diverse palette of unique notes and aromas. The alliance between a captivating sweetness and a smoky peat creates a distillation spectacle, a phenomenon in its own right.

Ardbeg Day is the highlight of the whiskey calendar:

Tasting notes:

Nose: fragrant and aromatic, notes of lavender, vetiver and incense. This is followed by deeper notes of leather, almond and wax. A touch of water and the scent becomes woody, smoky and minty.

Appearance: sunset orange

Palate: salty palate which leads to an explosion of smoky flavors: eucalyptus, salted caramel, smoked pecans, wood smoke.

Finish: long final note, flavors of leather, caramel and a refreshing minty sensation.
