This G. Rozelieures Single Malt whisky was the first whisky produced in Lorraine to be marketed, since 2007. It is double-distilled in our pot stills in Rozelieures and matured in oak casks that previously held, in particular, wines from the Sherry region. These casks give the whisky lively, spicy, powerful notes—the hallmark of a great whisky—with a very long finish.
Characteristics
Nose
Very fruity, led by pear, then developing into notes of nuts (walnut). A slight touch of smoke and malt.
Palate
Very rich and unctuous, it stands out for its intensely indulgent candied fruits before evolving toward walnut and leather.
Finish
Long, marked by a hint of smoke and spices.
