Reserva Zorzal is a true biodiversity sanctuary located in the heart of the Dominican Republic. It is named after a small endangered migratory bird, the Zorzal or Bicknell's Thrush, which it helps to preserve. The cacao trees in this lush valley produce exceptional organic cocoa with a beautiful cocoa intensity.
For us, enhancing this cocoa holds special significance because it was in the Dominican Republic that our wonderful journey began in 2012.
This 85% chocolate offers a lovely balance between woody notes and fruity hints of plum, along with a slight bitterness.
