Rum Bumbu - 70cl: a treasure of the Caribbean
Bumbu Rum is produced in an artisanal way, on the island of Barbados, in a very "pirate" atmosphere, according to a recipe inherited from the sailors of the Caribbean in the 16th century. The best sugar canes from 8 countries in the West Indies and South America - Barbados, Brazil, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Guyana, Honduras, El Salvador and Belize - are selected for its development. It is then distilled using two continuous stills, then aged in Kentucky bourbon casks. It thus presents sweet taste characteristics, marked by vanilla, dried fruits and fine notes of spices. Its heavy and elegant glass bottle is adorned with a tarnished metal "X" and a map of the Caribbean on the back, reminiscent of the "pirate" spirit. It’s a perfect rum for cocktails.
