Originally from England and selected by Alain for its lively character, the Cox’s apple also thrives in Normandy, where it fully reveals its personality. Its clean notes of cider and pear come through thanks to the carefully controlled process used for this unfiltered juice.
Serving occasions: Breakfast · Brunch · Tea time · Mixology
Ideal pairing: Brie de Meaux or aged Comté, with its Morello cherry jam
Discovered by Mr Cox in southern England and introduced to France at the end of the 19th century, this variety—known for its tangy aromas, rough skin and vibrant fragrance—quickly became a great success. Today it is grown in Normandy, which offers ideal climatic conditions.
